Miss Jessica’s love for dance began as a member of the competitive show choir Swingsations, where she discovered her passion for performing and teaching. She continued her dance education at Lincoln College on a dance scholarship as a member of their dance company, Dance Force. Jessica graduated with an A.A. in Liberal Arts and was honored with the Dance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance. She went on to earn her B.A. in Dance Choreography & Teaching from Columbia College Chicago.

While attending Columbia, Jessica worked with Youth Guidance of America, teaching dance through their extended-day program at an inner-city school in Chicago. She has spent the past 20 years sharing her passion for dance throughout the Chicagoland area.

Jessica also spent seven summers performing at Six Flags Great America, serving as Dance Captain for six of those seasons. Her love for show choir continues today as she travels throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin adjudicating show choir competitions.

In October 2012, Jessica turned her passion into a dream when she opened Dynamic Perception Dance Company. Since then, she has poured her heart into creating a studio where dancers can grow not only as performers, but also as confident, hardworking, and well-rounded individuals. Under her leadership, DPDC’s Competition Teams and Company have earned numerous prestigious awards, including Best Sportsmanship more than a dozen times—an accomplishment that represents one of the values Jessica is most passionate about instilling in her dancers.

Outside of the studio, Jessica is deeply committed to her community. She serves as President of the Board for the Westmont Chamber of Commerce and was honored as Business of the Year in 2020, received the prestigious President’s Award in 2021 for her involvement and volunteer efforts throughout Westmont, and was named Businesswoman of the Year in 2026.

Jessica founded and serves as Chair of the Westmont Women in Business Council and also serves as Chair of the Westmont Chamber Events Committee. She is passionate about supporting local businesses, creating meaningful connections, and giving back to the community that has supported her and DPDC for so many years.

Jessica is also the Creative Director for Pas De Deux Photo, an organization dedicated to dance photographers.

For Jessica, dance has always been about so much more than what happens on stage. It is about creating opportunities, building confidence, forming lifelong connections, and helping dancers discover what they are capable of. She is incredibly proud of everything DPDC has accomplished and, most importantly, the community that has been created along the way.

She can’t wait to see what DPDC does next!
