Gwynn was born in Los Angeles California where she started dancing at the age of three. She moved to northern New Hampshire where she continued to grow a passion for dance and dance teaching. Growing up Gwynn was on her dance academy’s and high school dance team. She attended Oklahoma City University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in American Dance Teaching. While in college Gwynn was in the dance programs company as well as worked on the technical theater side. She received Most Promising Pedagogy Major both her junior and senior year. From a chorus kick line dancer to an assistant stage manager, Gwynn loves to be apart of any aspect of a performance. She loves teaching children and adults the styles of jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical and contemporary. Gwynn expanded her teaching to competition dancers last season where her students placed first overall and awarded regional champions of 2 competitions; as well as placing in the top 5 at the other competitions her students attended. She is very excited to see what the future holds for her at Dynamic Perception Dance Company.
